Macomb’s Fayhee Signs With Sandburg Men’s Basketball

Carter Fayhee of Macomb High School has signed to play next season for the Carl Sandburg College men’s basketball team.
Fayhee, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound forward, averaged 18.5 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the Bombers during his senior season. He was named first-team All-West Central Conference each of the last three years and was a WCI Sports first-team All-Area selection this past season.
Fayhee helped Macomb to an 18-10 record and share of the West Central Conference title as a senior. He finished his career as one of the top 10 scorers in Bombers history, with more than 1,000 points.
Fayhee joins a Chargers program — coached by Macomb native Ryan Twaddle — that finished 23-9 this past season and won the Arrowhead Conference title for the first time since 1990.
